People and organizations use AI without knowing how much energy it requires. There is a lack of understanding of the resources behind AI. The effects on the environment, infrastructure, and society remain hidden. This invisibility leads to indifference and an ever-growing energy consumption. The keyboard extension makes people aware of their actions and teaches them to prompt in a more efficient way. It also helps the AI to understand you from the first prompt. It praises you by showing the real data on how much energy you and the whole community saved in a certain period of time.

The main inspiration for this project comes from the Clever Type AI keyboard, which influenced the overall interface concept and the way information is organized. Additional inspiration for the layout was taken from the Flo app, particularly its clear structure and intuitive presentation. I also explored existing energy tracking applications that display how much energy a user has consumed, which helped shape the idea of presenting consumption data in a simple and understandable way.
Wireframes
These wireframes show my first attempts at integrating the built-in keyboard into the interface of the application. I was mostly focused on the simplicity of text and labeling to see how information could be displayed clearly while maintaining a simple layout. The goal was to test how the keyboard interacts with the app and to understand how even small changes in wording can influence readability and usability.
FINAL SCREENS
The final screens present the main interface of the application and demonstrate how the built-in keyboard works within the system. The screens illustrate the main interaction points and demonstrate how the user engages with the more energy-efficient prompts. The goal of the interface is to make users aware of their digital energy consumption and guide them toward more efficient actions through clear, app-to-use and simple visual interface.
